The most common favor is iced cookies that are individually wrapped and handed out. It is very easy to change this popular favor to fit the Hanukkah theme. Make your favorite Hanukkah cookie recipe. Roll out the cookie dough and use Hanukkah shaped cookie cutters to shape the cookies. After the cookies have cooled ice them with blue and white frosting. Royal icing works the best, and is what is usually used for bridal shower favor cookies. Place each individual cookie into a cellophane bag, and then tie with a white or blue ribbon. Hand the cookies out to each of your guests.
Another bridal shower favor that can easily be changed to a Hanukkah favor is colored chocolate. At most bridal showers chocolates in the wedding colors are handed out, and shaped into wedding designs. For Hanukkah you will need white chocolate, Hanukkah candy molds, white or blue organza bags, white or blue ribbon, and food coloring. Melt the chocolate in a pan on low heat or in a pan over boiling water. Leave half of the chocolate white. Dye the other half with blue food coloring. Pour into the Hanukkah candy molds and let set. Place the chocolates into the organza bags and tie with ribbon. Your guest will enjoy either of these favors, and they are easy to make.
